COMMERCIAL DESCRIPTION
Cask; Regular.
Light golden in appearance, this thirst quenching session bitter is fruity and light. Use of hops from both Worcestershire and Slovenia gives it a distinctive hop character. Well balanced with a dry finish and spicy floral aroma.

Cask (handpump) at the Wilkes Head, Leek. A very handsome beer. Bright golden bronze colour with a modest, but lasting, head. Very crisp and hugely refreshing, with bags of citric hop character. Maybe a bit thin, but it is a session bitter. A good beer served in top condition.

Cask Conditioned at The Charles Cotton Hotel, Hartington, Derbys. Light brown with bubbly head. This is a light hoppy dry bitter again with lemony floral hop dry notes. I'm finding the Whim Ales to follow this theme and they are well brewed.

Cask in Southampton Arms.Clear light brown bitter. Nose is malty, sherberty, bit of candy sugar sweetness, aromatic floral. Taste is slightly toasty malt, candy sugar sweetness, nectar, and bit of grass. Nice bit of ctrous and sweetness with a touch of bitter on the finish. I liked this.

Cask@GBBF2011. Orangeish golden colour, small slightly off-white head. Aroma is malts, some fruits, wood and mild grassy notes as well. Flavour is quite similar with also some honey and mild acidic notes as well. Refreshing and pleasant to drink.

Cask at the King William IV, Nottingham. I thought this was a well-balanced, nicely dry complex bitter deserving of the accolades.

Cask at the Bell Inn, Smalley. Lovely light brown body with lively white head. Good hoppy floral notes, plenty of dry finish, if it wasn’t for the fact that the Bell also serve Whim IPA this would be my regular pint there.

Pint pulled at the Manifold Inn at Hulme End (Peak District), amber in colour with a thick and creamy head. A very hoppy aroma with floral notes. A good combination of hops and malt in the flavour, though a bit sour in the aftertaste.
