albertane (344), Nottingham, Nottinghamshire, England May 15, 2008 Cask at the King William IV, Nottingham. I thought this was a well-balanced, nicely dry complex bitter deserving of the accolades. fonefan (6078), Ulfborg, Denmark Feb 6, 2008 Cask (handpump) @ The National Winter Ales Festival 2008, Manchester, UK. Clear medium orange color with a average, frothy, good lacing, mostly lasting, off-white to white head. Aroma is light malty, toasted, roasted, moderate hoppy, grass, flowers, citrus - lemon. Flavor is moderate sweet and bitter with a average to long duration. Body is medium to light, texture is oily to watery, carbonation is soft to flat. (170108) jobyone (234), Charlotte, USA Jan 10, 2008 Pours amber with white head. The aroma has plenty of hops the flavor less so with a bit of sweetness. harrisoni (5605), Ashford, Kent, England Oct 21, 2007 Cask gravity at Nottingham BF 2007. Gold colour with sweaty sox hop. Very good bitter. A bit of tea maybe. Nice, drinkable. MesandSim (4713), Highgate, Greater London, England Sep 12, 2006 A Mes rate: Cask at The Devonshire Cat in Sheffield. Very very hoppy and not something I enjoyed to much. The finish is downright sharp infact. Very slight maltyness in the flavour but it is just too hoppy for me.
