Clear golden coloured with a pale aroma. Some dryness in a creamy lasting hop finish.

Cask at Royal Oak, Ockbrook. Pale straw colour, frothy head, hoppy and sweet (bit of candied peel), dances in the mouth.

Cask Conditioned at The Travellers Rest, Flash, Derbys. Mid golden with frothy head. Beutifully balanced zesty, tangy IPA. Plenty of hops, fresh, lightly boiled, absolutely refrshing after a 15 mile hike over the moors around Axe Edge so I am being carefull about not overmarking.

Cask conditioned handpump Smithfield Derby. A light gold coloured beer with an off-white head and lacing. The aroma has some nice itchy spicy hops. Delicate clean hoppy taste with some grass and a little soap. An easy drinking tasty beer.

Cask, GBBF. Light colored, like a pilsener. Rough head. Big hoparoma with vanilla. Well balanced hoppy flavor with vanilla and some apple fruitiness. Light bodied.

The Flowerpot, Derby. Brilliant gold lacing ornately. Slight vegetal aroma with apple and citrus. Pineapple, marzipan, some nice floral and lemon- accented hop, cashew afters. Metal and oak. Octo necked before I’d finished. Grower

[Cask conditioned] Golden coloured. Hoppy aroma. Fresh flavour with a bitter finish.

This is a very pale IPA, not as impressive as Deuchars or Empire Pale Ale but not a bad festival beer.
