On cask at the congress, longton. Pours clear pale gold with a lasting white head. Pleasant, sweet but not like a traditional wheat beer. ---Rated via Beer Buddy for iPhone

Has a lingering weiss aftertaste, fairly light-bodied but still full of flavour.

On cask at the 2012 NWAF, Manchester. Pours a blonde colour with a thick white head. Huge apricot aroma with caramel, yeast and alcohol. Similar upfront apricot flavour with caramel, yeast and barley also. Quite dry to finish with moderate carbonation and an oily mouth-feel.

Cask, Lathkil Hotel. What a fantastic introduction to wheat beers, I thought this was bursting with interesting clove and banana flavours and aromas, i’d like to try more of this style of beer.

Cask - The Flower Pot, Derby. Poured with a lasting, small white head atop a golden yellow body. Has the general spicey, ginger, lime character of a wit with notes orange peel on the nose and lemon on the tongue but with no real traces of wheat to be found. Light, crisp & refreshing body after a day of exploring the city with light to medium carbonation and a shortish finish. I liked it but just not very wheaty at all, more like a spicy golden.

Cask at the King Billy, Nottingham. This has a pleasing aroma redolent of pineapple. The flavour, however, isn’t as enjoyable; it seems to combine the sweetness of bubblegum with pine needles. The effect is rather cloying. I had a half; a full pint would have been difficult to finish. I’m giving it extra marks for effort.
