2.9 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 6/10 PALATE 2/5 OVERALL 11/20 pictoman (101) - British Columbia, CANADA - MAY 4, 2013
Poured from 650mL bottle. Clear copper colour with minimal white head. Very strong aroma of chocolate and orange (like Terry’s chocolate orange). Same flavour, but light and almost watery. Little body.
2.6 AROMA 6/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 6/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 8/20 WheatKing (744) - Oak Bay, British Columbia, CANADA - APR 23, 2013
Sadly I didn’t really get to taste or smell the beer here, it was covered with a chocolate syrup in the same way coffees are given hazelnut syrups or what-have-you for teens still not used to the coffee flavours. Scares me to think that this style of "crafting" beer might become more popular. I agree with others that there was a strong orange characteristic.

smells of chocolate and hints of citrus orange nice deep brown color with a nice off cream foamy head tastes just like a terrys choc orange so damn good
2.7 AROMA 6/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 5/10 PALATE 2/5 OVERALL 10/20 Reimer96 (620) - Alberta, CANADA - MAR 25, 2013
Pours a clear brown color with a nice lasting light brown head. Aroma of sweet, chocolate, cocoa, citrus, basically like a chocolate orange. Taste is sweet chocolate that turns into a tart orange in a rather unpleasant way likely from the wheat. If this was kept as just a dunkel and left out the wheat I think it would work a lot better all around.
2.9 AROMA 6/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 6/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 11/20 andrewturba (480) - Alberta, CANADA - MAR 25, 2013
Pours clear brown colour with big initial tan head that tones down to a fair cap on top that seems to last. Aroma is chocolate, orange, vanilla, and some nuttiness, sorta like a terries chocolate orange. Flavour is sweet milk chocolate, zesty orange, spices and toffee. Not as bad as some are saying but this is definitely not a session beer, more of a novelty beer.
1.7 AROMA 5/10 APPEARANCE 2/5 TASTE 2/10 PALATE 2/5 OVERALL 6/20 DuffMan (5247) - the land of bitumen, beef & beer, Alberta, CANADA - JAN 13, 2013
Bottle, shared with mmmIPA (and the kitchen sink). Medium brown pour, light tan head that dissipates quickly. Aroma is very candy-sweet, and evocative of Terry’s Chocolate Orange confection. The palate delivers the same fake candy sweetness that certainly captures a chocolate covered orange perfectly, but is syrupy and soda-ish. This will have its fans, but I’m not one of them. Drainpour.
3.2 AROMA 8/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 2/5 OVERALL 12/20 sulawang (418) - British Columbia, CANADA - JAN 3, 2013
pours dark beer bottle brown, small head, a few slow streams. Aromatic dessert chocolate orange on the nose. Drinks with authentic cacao up front, and orange zest, akin to chocolate orange confections, malts, caramel, finishing on the watery side, malty light bitter. Medium complexity, med depth, good transitions, decent carry, decent drinkability.
3.2 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 6/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 13/20 reebtogi (3388) - Edmonton, Alberta, CANADA - DEC 31, 2012
650ml bottle pours almost black in color with a finger of off-white head that settles quite quickly leaving some sporadic lacing behind. Aroma is dominated by milk chocolate and oranges. Taste is also sweet chocolate and oranges with some hints of spices on the tongue. Medium bodied with little carbonation. An interesting brew, but not very complex.
3.4 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 14/20 Gerbeer (892) - Vancouver, British Columbia, CANADA - DEC 27, 2012
650 ml bottle. Pours a clear dark brown with little head. Very strong hot chocolate aroma with a little bit of orange peel. A reverse on the flavors; a strong citrus/orange/acidic burst to start followed by chocolate and malt middle, then maybe a hint of the dunkel. Interesting but really more of a candy based beverage than a beer.
3.2 AROMA 5/10 APPEARANCE 5/5 TASTE 6/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 12/20 stantheman (378) - British Columbia, CANADA - DEC 20, 2012
Large bottle. Pours very dark brown with generous tan head. Hm. Smells and tastes like nothing so much as liquid tootsie roll. Okay, 2nd gulp here. Yes, I’m getting orange, or at least citrus, and some chocolate and caramel. An amusing beverage, but not one to be taken too seriously. 3.2.
