2.8 AROMA 6/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 5/10 PALATE 2/5 OVERALL 12/20 baraciisch (606) - USA - MAY 3, 2012
Had this some time ago but found my notes... Light hops aroma... Flavor is gentle and crisp with a nice hop base... Not very bitter, a good starter beer for hop novices... Kind of watery, not as sweet as pales I’m used to... The coors light of pales, okay at best
2.9 AROMA 5/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 6/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 12/20 reebtogi (2159) - Edmonton, Alberta, CANADA - APR 15, 2012
330ml bottle pours a pale amber color with a small white head that settles quickly leaving no lacing behind. Aroma is light cereal grains and mild herbal tea-like hops. Taste is light malty sweetness with mild herbal hop bitterness. Light to medium body with light carbonation. Below average pale ale.
2.4 AROMA 5/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 4/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 9/20 5000 (4095) - Hardened Liver, Washington, USA - NOV 26, 2011
Bottle:   Clear amber with a pale copper hue, moderate sudsy white head, spotty lacing.   Big time tea
leaf nose, slight cardboard and a hint of overcooked vegetable.   Luckily not as strong on the tongue, but its
there.   Hops a minor, malts are even less.   Some tobacco leaf as well.   I think I understand why those
in BC come down to Seattle for IPAs and Pale Ales.   Too much tea and tobacco leaf, not enough hop... or should I
say hardly any.   At this point the body and mouthfeel aren’t even a factor.   Next!

353ml bottle picked up at The Grapevine
Appearance: Pours clear golden with a medium sized white head and good lacing
Aroma: Bready, dusty caramel and some light fruit
Taste: Caramel, grains, herbal and salty
A decent, easy drinking pale ale.
3 AROMA 6/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 6/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 12/20 BeerLimey (2133) - California, USA - JUL 3, 2011
[Bottle] Clear copper color, moderate head formation. Fruity hop aroma dominates along with a mild biscuity malt. Lightly spiced hop flavor, touch of creamy malt, mild woodiness, slightly sour hoppy finish. Body is fairly light. Pretty straightforward English pale.
2.6 AROMA 5/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 5/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 10/20 jimmay (733) - Waterloo, Ontario, CANADA - JUN 23, 2011
On tap. Nice copper colour, small off white head. Not much taste or aroma, some caramel malt. Meh
2.6 AROMA 3/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 4/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 12/20 Naven (999) - Poway, California, USA - JUN 19, 2011
11.2 oz bottle. This was in a "summer beers" gift pack that was given to me for my birthday. This is the first one I tried. I wasn’t expecting much, and that’s what I got. Virtually hop-free. I guess you could call this a pale ale in the British tradition. Refreshing, very drinkable. Not a lot of flavor or substance, but I guess that’s the point?
1.8 AROMA 5/10 APPEARANCE 2/5 TASTE 4/10 PALATE 2/5 OVERALL 5/20 mnurda (784) - Winnipeg, Manitoba, CANADA - MAY 30, 2011
Bottled sample at chateau whistler. Not m favorite of the trip. Lackluster in flavor
2.5 AROMA 4/10 APPEARANCE 2/5 TASTE 5/10 PALATE 2/5 OVERALL 12/20 Scubaguy (230) - Alberta, CANADA - MAR 2, 2011
It pours an amber color with a small white head that quickly fades to a cap.
On the nose I am getting some malty notes and some light carmel. But pretty dull and that’s even after it has warmed.
The flavor is pretty generic. I am getting some malt, little biscuit, carmel. There is some spicy hop notes. It is pretty thin overall.
It finishes with a slight bitterness but also there is a lingering metallic taste. This would be the first thing I have had from these guys and not overly impressed.
2.1 AROMA 5/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 4/10 PALATE 2/5 OVERALL 7/20 manuchampions (1163) - Vancouver, British Columbia, CANADA - DEC 3, 2010
Pint at Firerock pub in Whistler. Okay, I was at a venue with very little of interest in the tap list. This was the best they had.
Pours a deep brown with thin off white head. Aroma is almost entirely absent from this nitro tainted offering. Taste was extremely underwhelming...kind of like an inferior dark lager more than a pale ale. Once again a terrible effort to dumb down a beer to the mainstream rather than excel in the style. Boring and uninspired.
