pintbypint (877), Edmonton, Alberta, Canada Feb 22, 2008 341ml clear bottle. Gold colour with a small creamy white cap, leaves sticky lacing in the glass. Aroma is bready malt. Flavour is malt, grain and dough with a slightly fruity note. Finish is grainy and bready. Body seemed watery and thin and the carboantion is pretty weak /flat which goes against most reviews here, this bottle may well be off. Decent flavour but this beer would have scored higher with a better carboantion profile. It just seemed flat.
Bradrcr (547), Renton, Washington, USA Jul 21, 2008 7/9/08 On draught at FX McRory’s, Seattle, Wa. Aroma is Corny yet bready pils forward with light sourness and low noble hop bittering. Appearance is clear yellow with a well maintained white head and exceptional lacing. Flavor has high corny caramel sweetness, but not objectionable. hops have medium bittering with floral/sweet noble character (yes, it exists). Mouthfeel is light bodied with a medium/high carb texture and lingering finish. Overall, very easy drinking with great malt character that seem more similar to classic americal lagers, but this lacks any corn. joss (3101), Garching b. München, Germany Jul 10, 2008 Clear glass bottle. Terrible corn nose. Urine colour, no head. Almost lucky that it has no flavor and is pure water from here on. jerc (3071), Toronto, Ontario, Canada Nov 8, 2007 Draft @ Doc Willoughby’s. Crisp yellow with a small white head. Sweet pale malt aroma. Very light, sweet pale malt flavour. Smooth palate, thin flavour. Pretty weak, but inoffensive. papajohn (987), San Diego, California, USA Oct 16, 2007 350 ml can from BC Liquor store in Burnaby: Pale straw color with a fluffy white head. Faint aroma of grain.
