cjwright79 (7), Surrey, British Columbia, Canada does not count Aug 30, 2006 Whistler Premium Export Lager is a fine little brew, coming in classy clear bottles, and even a keychain bottle opener. Now you can drink and drive in style!
Seriously though -- a nice brew. Good clear consistency, honey undertones, even a bit spicy on the first sip. Good stuff. Bradrcr (617), Renton, Washington, USA Jul 21, 2008 7/9/08 On draught at FX McRory’s, Seattle, Wa. Aroma is Corny yet bready pils forward with light sourness and low noble hop bittering. Appearance is clear yellow with a well maintained white head and exceptional lacing. Flavor has high corny caramel sweetness, but not objectionable. hops have medium bittering with floral/sweet noble character (yes, it exists). Mouthfeel is light bodied with a medium/high carb texture and lingering finish. Overall, very easy drinking with great malt character that seem more similar to classic americal lagers, but this lacks any corn. DuffMan (1962), Calgary, Alberta, Canada Aug 12, 2007 So we’re just getting this in Alberta now. Comes in a clear Corona-like bottle, so you know its a golden blonde. Surprises you with a chunky robust white head displaying excellent retention and generating an amazing amount of thick lace right to the bottom of the shaker glass. I’m hammered. So take this into account with what follows. I find this quite Kolsch-like. Yes I know what a Kolsch is you idiot. This has a fruity light nose, grainy. The flavours are clean grains with a little breadiness and a nice light fruitiness. Clean finish. I’m used to "premium" lagers stating their claim on an extra handful of euro-hops and the presence of some true pale malt. This is surprisingly a little different and I liked it. Angeloregon (2002), Portland, Oregon, USA Sep 25, 2008 On tap at Georgetown Liquors in Seattle, WA--Straw yellow body with a thin gripping white small chunky head. Creamy, smooth flavor. Sharp prickly, carbonic mouthfeel. Big time session brew. Powertrip (71), Calgary, Alberta, Canada Feb 19, 2007 Standard lager aroma, golden appearence with a touch of mustard cloud. Kind of a off-fruit flavor that disappears immediately after swallowing....
