3.2 AROMA 5/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 13/20 patricks110 (1212) - Alberta, CANADA - NOV 5, 2011
I really enjoyed this Hefe. The pour is a cloudy orange-yellow with a thick finger of yellow head. The head dies to absolutely nothing, but regenerates easily. the note is quite bland with a light German yeast, toasty malts and light hops. The taste is awesome though, with a beautiful citrus yeast ester and nice spiced finish. The malts are of light caramel and toast with a light hop. Overall, this is a nice session hefe with a good yeast and German character.
3 AROMA 5/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 6/10 PALATE 2/5 OVERALL 14/20 Scubaguy (230) - Alberta, CANADA - AUG 27, 2011
It pours cloudy yellow color with some orange hue’s, it has a 1 finger white head that settles to a thick cap. It has some small spots of lacing.
On the nose I am getting some wheat notes and light citrus.
The flavor is better than what I was expecting. I get some solid amounts of wheat, yeast, clove, it has some banana but not nearly enough, it has lemon that stands out. With everything pushed in, it still seems to be a little thin.
It finishes with a slight bitterness and a little citrus acidic notes. I have to say the best beer I have had from these guys. I could make this a session on a hot summer day.

Small-ish head and a decent cloudy orange body. Soft citrus and wheat aromas, slightly fake but barely noticeable. Flavour is a good mix of wheat and grain flavours followed by a sour and dry finish on the tongue. Simple and refreshing; worth checking out.
3.7 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 15/20 Lagerboy (668) - British Columbia, CANADA - MAY 20, 2011
UPDATED: OCT 27, 2011 Whistler brews seem to be totally hit or miss, and their weissbier is definately a hit! Lovely citrus orange, banana, and spicy clove aroma and taste, very nice. Lagerboy friendly.
2.7 AROMA 6/10 APPEARANCE 2/5 TASTE 5/10 PALATE 2/5 OVERALL 12/20 Strangebrewer (632) - Chatham, Ontario, CANADA - SEP 22, 2010
bottle. Hazy pale amber appearence with a dissapating white head. Spicy aroma of banana and cloves. Light mouthfeel, not as peppery compared to Belgian wheats. Prickly carbonation. Pappery citrus flavour, medium bitterness and finishes with a sticky dryness.
3.9 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 5/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 16/20 Powertrip (999) - Calgary, Alberta, CANADA - MAY 29, 2010
Fantastic look to this one. Icy frosted yellow cream colour with medium weight head. Interesting nose....mustard and sour mash combined...almost balances too! Taste has a hop entrance followed by a smoked marshmelllow middle and a flaxy cereal medium-long finish. Good complexity and a worthy effort beer.

UPDATED: SEP 23, 2009 Bottle. 5%. Hazy orange pour, very cloudy, with a frothy white head, decent retention. Aroma is bananas, oranges, and cloves. Taste is grainy, but sweet and smooth with a hint of banana in the finish. Absolutely superb. A great Canadian weissbier.
