3.3 AROMA 6/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 14/20
Unretired, 440ml can(s), Morrisons. Pours deep ruby with a creamy yellowish head that sticks around. Biscuity malt prevails with notes of chocolate and malted milk. The subtlest hint of roast and just enough sourish woodiness to keep you lifting the glass. Creamy palate. Shames bottled beers twice its strength. More 2.6% beers please that donít compromise on body or flavour. Tasty Mild.

2.1 AROMA 4/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 4/10 PALATE 2/5 OVERALL 7/20
440 ml can sampled in 2007. Reddish brown body with a medium sized beige head. Not much aroma, some caramel malt. Flavor has very light roasted, mild caramel malt and thatís more than less what there is to taste. Not much bitterness, thin watery body and short aftertaste.

2.3 AROMA 4/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 4/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 8/20
Can. Clear, copper body, and a beige head. Malty-sweet aroma, with caramel, but it is quite weak. The same goes for the flavor, but it is a bit more evident. Considering the low ABV, it is a nice one, but I would prefer it beefed up a bit, and a fuller body. (070914)

3.1 AROMA 5/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 6/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 12/20
UPDATED: JUL 11, 2007 (draught keg in Baiborne Lees) not retired apparently. Dark brown with hints of red, small off white head. Malt aroma. Mild biscuit malt flavor. Actually not a bad session beer - I think itís underrated here.

2.2 AROMA 4/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 4/10 PALATE 2/5 OVERALL 9/20
Canned(49p to clear Morrisons) Dark with a big bubbled off-white head. Slight aroma of roast malt, little else. Smooth and fairly malty, sweetish/grainy finish. Ok but nothing great..prefer draught mild, but those are thin on the ground around here.

2.7 AROMA 2/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 6/10 PALATE 2/5 OVERALL 14/20
(draft) No head at all, but somehow managed to have very good lacing. A hint of caramel in the flavor. A slightly lagerish finish but not too fizzy. Not bad at all.

2.3 AROMA 6/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 4/10 PALATE 2/5 OVERALL 8/20
Canned. A decent aroma of caramel and maybe some sweet toffee. The appearance is a buttery brown with a creamy ísmoothflowí head. The taste is difficult to find as it is very thin. However there is a little caramel sweetness as it warms up. Itís a bit like a sweet Shandy Bass in a way; beer for the playground.
