bradlyc77 (26), Sebastopol, California, USA Oct 10, 2008 Nice amber color and sweet malty aroma. Taste is very malty with some yeast. Just an average English pale ale. Beerman6686 (780), Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania, USA Sep 27, 2008 Poured an amber color with an off white head. Aroma was really malty with no signs of anything else. Flavor was much the same, really bland, typical bitter blutt59 (796), Dallas, Texas, USA Sep 24, 2008 bottle, amber color with rocky lasting head, nose of malted dried fruits, flavor is dried fruit and whiskey , finish is very dry also zappafan99 (332), Rock Hill, South Carolina, USA Sep 5, 2008 Updated: Sep 7, 2008Taste 9/8 Bottle(date is gibberish) Looks: Dark copper with a clinging and disappearing head. Body is fairly active. Aroma: Smells of biscuit and various malts. Taste: Biscuit and sour with some dark and sweet malt. Bitter finish. A little floral hops. SpudClampDawg (949), Jasper, Indiana, USA Aug 27, 2008 12oz bottle: Crystal clear amber pour with a healthy, foam inducing white head. A soft balance of creamy caramel and fruity hops meet the nose. Nothing over the top, nicely balanced, clean and approachable. The fruity hops are more defined on the palate, offering an array of sweet apple, candied orange and floral perfume. A moderate dose of buttery malts balance. Things are a bit muddled, but fit the style. An easy drinker that is well built, but nothing too special.
