berkshire_john (1004), Bracknell, Berkshire, England Aug 4, 2008 550ml bottle. Amber with a thin white head;musty hop aroma; quite prickly in the mouth; beardy yeast flavour with some caramel, slight vinegar acidity. Rather flat for a traditional English pale ale, but drinkable. roder_60 (840), Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania, USA May 11, 2008 Poured a medium amber color with a tad bit of whitish head. Aroma is yeasty with a tad bit of mild earthy hops. Mouthfeel is very heavy. Flavor tastes literally like you are drinking a loaf of white bread. All yeast/dough. Not a fan. thomat (550), Göteborg, Sweden May 6, 2008 Pale amber with medium, whiite head. Flowery and hoppy tones. Malt and a hint of hops. Medium to light body with a short, dry finish. renffisch (406), london, Greater London, England Feb 18, 2008 275ml bottle @ the brewery tap in wim village. Smelled of baby food, tasted of canned dog food (honestly i was a toddler once :-p) and is in my mouth just terrible. Finn (1051), Tromsø, Norway Feb 18, 2008 Bottle 0,275l at The The Old Red Lion - Kennington 6 Feb 08. Pale golden colored. A good looking lasting creamy head. Hardly any aroma. Flat, unvaried flavor. Some sourish bitterness in the finish. Dull.
