[Bottle at Wenlock Arms, London] An amber beer with a small orange head. The nose is very hoppy while the flavor is dry hoppy and a little roasted. Nice without being something special.

Bottled at Three Judges, Glasgow. Amber colour, rich, rocky head. Plastic aroma. Dryishwith minty wotr flavour. Thin and papery with low bitterness. Industrial and dull.

Bottle. Quite industrial in flavour. Sharp tinny and gassy, with not much in the way of hop or malt in the flavour. Sweet and not much happening. Thanks sully.

A Mes rate: Bottle from the Feathers. Substandard beer in a very odd (local) boozer. What a night of glorious ale this wasn’t...

In our room at Thistle Hotel, Aberdeen, Scotland 2005, the evening before going home. Amber with a nice head and lace. The aroma has notes of pipe tobacco and caramel, and the flavour has notes of smoke, malt and fruit (melon). Practically no bitterness. The smoke disturbs the experience.
