a little cloudy but the mediocre reviews this beer has received is because of inconsistent preferences of the individuals who have rated it. A superior taste that has good balance between flavor, bitterness and aroma.

Bought from the World Market in Arlington Highlands. Sweet and roasted with a dry, hoppy aftertaste.

Bottle. Pours a clear copper amber with a medium creamy off white head that lasts awhile leaving good sticky lacing along the glass. The aroma is a spicy fruit aroma with caramel and light bready malt. Medium mouthfeel with a bitter malt with caramel and a nice sugary finish. A good ESB from Boston Beer.

33 cl bottle, Fargo, ND, USA. Deep amber colour, clingy tight foam head. Balanced hop/malt, with some sweet citrus lurking in the background. Challenging flavor, first sip is slightly sour, then changing to sweet bitter molasses. Finish is autumnal and earthy, prunes mostly.

Great lacing. Aroma is sweet and slightly malty with a hint of roast. The flavor lingers on the side/back of the tongue as a slightly astringent hop/roasty malt bitterness with a hint of minerals.

Overall a very good beer. Appearance is light brown with a lacey head. Mouthfeel is smooth. Brew is pretty malty but overall has a very nice flavor and is a very drinkable beer.

Hazy brown color with a fluffy tan head. I could detect some caramel aroma with some sweet tea in the background. Kind of a sweet citrus taste. I like this.

light brown color, fairly clear, small off-white head which disappears quickly, slight lacing. light citrus hops in the nose, touch of tea. flavor of sweet malt, touch of creamy caramel, lightest hint of citrus hoppiness. medium bodied, bitter finish. a bit too meek and a touch too sweet to be repeatable. sweetens more as it warms. 6 pack purchased a liquor depot in monee.

Poured out an orangy brown clear beer with an acceptable ammount of off-white head that leaves small spotty lacing. Lots of fruity aroma, caramel and burnt sugar. Some spice and possibly some alcohol. The taste is filled with mildly spicy hops and some burnt sugar and a weak fruit...but there is a notable alcohol burn...or is it the hops? Hard to tell as the flavour isnít all that great to start off with. Light medium bodied. Fairly smooth on the mouth while being very carbonated. After the not-so-good bitterness vanishes you are left with a bit of a chewy burnt sugar finish.

Yet another incredibly boring ESBís on the market and while itís nothing to get excited about, itís not a drainpour either. The beer pours out a medium amber color/orangeish color, slightly hazy with a 2" foamy off-white head. Aroma is lightly sweet with honey, some yeast/bready aroma, dust, and floral. Aroma though is very restrained and there just wasnít enough there to get a higher score. Flavor is sweet up front, with a bit of french bread-like sweetness, slightly fruity with a bit of off-caramel. Eh.
