COMMERCIAL DESCRIPTION
Napoleon’s troops referred to Berliner Weisse as the "Champagne of the North" due to its lively and elegant character. Today this style is described by some as the most refreshing beer in the world. Our approach was to brew this beer with Lactobacilius for a refreshing and authentic interpretation of a classic summer refresher.

Refrigerated brown bottle, abv on bottle 5.5%, poured into a glass. Pours deep golden with small off-white head which dissipates quickly. Aroma is tart and bready, medium body, lower carbonation, and little small-bubble lacing. Taste is tart and bread. Not as light and refreshing as other Berliners, but not bad.

MacBoost (1399) - Pouring Bus, New York, USA - SEP 19, 2014
Bomber listed at 5.5% alcohol. A bacterial funk indicates that this brew was actually brewed with lacto, not just a wheat beer with lactic acid added. Aromas of funk, lemon, wheat. Pours very pale with a small head. Taste is lightly tart and funky. Flavors of tart wheat, some genital warts, some funk. Quenching. Finished with a thin mouthfeel and a light sweetness coupled with a light tartness. Nice.

Bomber from House Beer ($4.99). Murky yellow pour with a thin white head that leaves a ring. Aroma of wheat, lemon jam, funk. Tastes are acidic candied lemon, bread, oak. Light even tartness. Not a lot of depth - wheaty, lemon, sweet-tart. Decent tart fix - especially at the price.
