COMMERCIAL DESCRIPTION
Hop Session is in. Starting with a blend of west coast hops for a balanced, bitter effect. We close the session out by dry hopping the beer for a nice resiny mouth feel.

Somewhat hazy straw yellow with a decent white head. Aroma is light hops with a tiny amount of citrus. Flavor is rounded hoppiness with a light pine finish. Could use a little more malt to balance and create a fuller body. Hops are actually fairly faint for an IPA and it comes off mildly watery. It also has an odd smokey finish as well. Not bad, definitely sessionable, but doesn’t leave a huge impression. Wife: 3.3

Can from Brew Topia. Cloudy orange-red with dense thick head and full lace. Mild spicy orange cake aroma. Toasty fruity nutty honey medium sweet malts with resiny lingering bitterness. Medium light with fine carbo. Complex but not entirely pleasant. Too complex, too resiny, and not refreshing enough for style (IMHO). I don’t want my session IPA to try to taste like a DIPA. It doesn’t work. Okay.

Last hotel rake of the night. Some what dank nose, must. Taste begins with sweetness, undertones of fruit. Mild bitterness enters, flowery hops. A tad too sweet. Body is medium.

22oz bottle. Poured a clear golden color with a small off-white head. Aroma was light herbal notes, some light grass. Malt character. Bottle was way old, but it wasn’t actually that horrible (at least to me). Light earthy, light pine notes. Refreshing, though perhaps some lighter abv to make it even more sessionable.

Bottled in February 2014 tasted at the end of October. This one’s going to be stale. Bomber into nonic pint. Copper body with off-white finger high head. Some patches of lace. Aroma is dim caramel malt, some citrus, and earth. Taste is muted bready sweetness and muted floral bitterness. Medium body, a notch in the direction of thick texture, average carbonation, astringent finish.

Draft pour at Rattle n Hum in New York. Orange with a ton of foamy head. Super bitter. Great full flavor session IPA - wouldn't know it is only 5%. Crisp hoppy malts and orange taste. Not bad at all
