Commercial Description:
With this batch, Our Tripel undergoes a period of oak aging. This makes the wait longer, but we love how the oak adds additional flavors and complexity to the beer. We feel the wait is worth it. Brewed with rye. 9-10.4 abv.

Bomber. Pours a slight hazy low carbed straw yellow with almost no head. Aroma is acetaldehyde, green apple, harsh tannic raw white oak, vanilla, grass, and old crackery malts and hints of milky lactose. High vanilla flavor, plastic and yeasty phenols, clove, grass, milk sugar, dry grain, cobwebby, lemon, green beans, and more harsh acetaldehyde. As bad as this was, it was still way better than the Saison and the Belgian Pale Ale. Ugh- this brewery is pretty terrible. Drainpour.

Bottom of the bottle. Pours a creamy copper with a white head. Rye, appleish, moth tones. A moth y vegetative mess. Ah bad.

Bottle at Paul’s place for Kan’s visit courtesy of Mike. Pours a milky, but slightly translucent yellow with a thin white head. Smells gross, lemon furniture polish, minerals. Flavor almost follows the nose, but slightly more vomit inducing. I couldn’t get any of this down. Total drainpour.

thanks to jblauv as always, so i can be the 2nd rater:) very pale cloudy yellow orangey pour. Pretty light aroma, getting stronger as it warms. Some sweet fruit, hints of lemon, and some light floral notes as well, a little weird tiny bit of that booziness but not a lot. A lot of fizz and sweetness at the front, the booziness is present but not to powerful. Finishes with a dryer light grassier tone, kinda odd, just not what was to be expected, but still tasty. .

First Rating.. Blue Wax on the cap.. Pale Yellow Pour, little off white head. Aroma is relatively clean, some fruit notes, slight booziness and a touch of wood. Flavor is upfront a little boozy with some wood and light sugars. Some grassiness and graininess. Very Different than your average Tripel. Very Light, Woody, Grassy, and Dry. Interesting
