COMMERCIAL DESCRIPTION
Cask; Regular.
NOTE: The pump clip has the word "Oxfordshire" in small letters above the word "Bitter" but the brewery does not refer to the beer as Oxfordshire bitter on its website.
Deep in the vale of the White Horse tradition is being kept alive. Using only the finest ingredients this golden bitter balances locally grown Challenge Hops with Yorkshire malt, to offer the discerning drinker a beer that will stop any horse in its tracks.

My Bottom Line:
Honeyed malts and peppery hops meld in this silky Bitter.

Further Personal Perceptions:
-A ring of foam crowns the amber-tinged golden.
-The hop character has green edges.
-Orange-y tea leaves are also shared in the aroma.
-The mouthfeel is smooth and rich, creating an elegant quencher of a body.
-The flavour profile is balanced.

On cask at The Royal Blenheim, Oxford.

Great swift half on a hot afternoon. Could very easily be a session beer. Lively, producing a smooth head, clean flavour, slightly floral and grassy.

On Tap @ the Haymarket Bar. Pours golden with a proportionate head. The nose has grapefruit and hay. The taste is more of the same. The palate is light to medium in structure and texture with a clean finish. Overall, a good easy quaffer!

Cask at the Royal Blenheim, Oxford, England.
Deep golden colour with small white head. Salty watery aroma. Flavour is very mild floral and fruity hoppy. Watery. I don’t know what’s wrong with this but it’s not the same nectar rated before. Watery and flavourless. Probably needs another go sometime.

Golden and bright, with a fine white head. Aroma is crisp and hoppy. Bitter and dry on the palate but with a firm underlying fruity malt. Dry bitter finish. An excellent session bitter, reminiscent of Young’s Ordinary when it was good.
