Cask conditioned at The Turf Tavern, Oxford. Amber with white head. Bready fruity beer with a full on malt body, slightly darker roasted and with a malty sweetness. Rich with some toffee notes and a flowery hop finish, a very decent Bitter indeed.

Clear medium amber color with a average to large, frothy to creamy, good lacing, fully lasting, off-white head. Aroma is moderate malty, caramel, toffee, coffee notes. Flavor is moderate to heavy sweet and light to moderate bitter with a average duration, and a dry finish. Body is medium, texture is watery to oily, carbonation is soft.

Aroma is moderate to light heavy malty, caramel, nutty, coffee notes, moderate hoppy, licorice hop notes. Flavor is moderate to heavy sweet and bitter with a average to long duration. Body is medium, texture is oily, carbonation is soft.

Cask, Lord keeper of the Great Seal, Oadby . Amber with a small head. Aromas are earthy with spices, especially cinnamon. Some sweet malts. Flavours are sweet toffee malts with raisins and earthy, spicy hops. Decent.
