Clear medium amber colour with a average, frothy, good lacing, mostly lasting, off-white head. Aroma is moderate malty, toasted, caramel, nutty, light to moderate hoppy, orange - citrus, dry grass. Flavor is moderate to light light heavy sweet and moderate bitter with a average to long duration, fruity tart notes. Body is medium, texture is oily, carbonation is soft to flat. [20111023]

Cask at Turf Tavern, Oxford. An amber coloured pour with a small white head on top. Malty aroma. Tastes malty, caramel, fruity, slightly bitter. An average English bitter.

Cask @ Metropolitan Bar, JDW, Baker Street NW1. Pours a pale golden color with a small white head. Has a fruity malty caramel aroma. Fruity malty bitter hoppy caramel flavor. Has a fruity malty caramel finish.

cask at white lady ... dark amber ... thin white head ... soft fruit hop nose ... big zezty lemon ... sharp hop ... big citrus ... lots of sherbert and light bitter in linger. nice

Clear orange coloured with a medium sized off-white head.
Sweet and fruity aroma of caramel, grass and hops.
Fruity flavour of caramel, grass and hops.
Dry hoppy finish.

Cask conditioned at The Rose & Crown, Charlbury, Oxon. Gold to amber with white head. I’m finding this with White Horse beers lately, there was quite a strong initial taste of caramel, toffee. Quite bitter and dry and hints of hop cone, leafy, quite earthy. Reasonable, but could do without the toffee notes.

From cask at Crosse Keys. Pours cloudy dark brown with a small, creamy and dense head. Aroma is mild fruity adn toasted malty. Bitter, toasted malty and light breadish. Mild liqourice note. Ends dry malty, bitter and liqourice flavoured. Dry and bitter far finish.

On cask at The Robert Nairn, Kirkcaldy. An amber ale with a thin white head. Grassy and herbs with a dry finish. It’s OK at best.

Golden amber beer with dusty aroma and thin body. Fairly low in flavour with some juicy malt. Dry and short bitter finish.
