3.3 AROMA 6/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 14/20
Bottle, Sainsburys, Kidlington, Oxon. Gold with a small white head, found that this beer has retained some though not all of its characteristics that are present in itís cask form. Very hoppy and crisp with a distictive lingering flavour (must be the hops) dryish to finish, this tastes quite different, I liked this though wish that it would have been bottle conditioned.

2.4 AROMA 5/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 5/10 PALATE 2/5 OVERALL 9/20
Clear 500ml bottle, best before 23rd Oct 2009, drank 20th July 2009. Poured into a standard UK pint sleeve glass. My bottle claimed 4.1%, not the 4.5% on the site information.
Pours a dull golden amber colour, almost clear and see through, a white head arrived and then left very quickly leaving a thin collar and a wispy covering.
A slight grassy aroma, no hint of the Challenger Hops or Yorkshire Malts as advertised on the label.
The taste was weak, again no sight of the ingredients mentioned above, a thin bitter in all aspects, fizzy and boring to be honest.
This is the second beer Iíve had from this brewery and so far Iíve been unimpressed with either brew.

3.7 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 15/20
Pale amber colour. Massive hop aroma. Flavour is quite sweet and fruity at first, a little malt also comes through. The bitter hop dryness completes the well rounded flavour.

2.8 AROMA 6/10 APPEARANCE 2/5 TASTE 5/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 12/20
Bottle. Golden with a thin head. Looks terrible in the clear bottle. Aromas are sweet biscuit malts with citrus. Some marmalade notes with some woodiness. Flavours are biscuit and caramel malts with sweet lemon. Dry hops but low bitterness. Reasonable.

2.2 AROMA 4/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 4/10 PALATE 2/5 OVERALL 9/20
Gold with a thin white head. Aroma of some very tired, stale hops with supporting honey. Flavour was subdued with a hint of honey and more hops which had seen better days. Poor.
