2.8 AROMA 6/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 5/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 11/20
Bright lagery gold ale with creamy white suds. Lots of tangy perfume and soapy orange but little else of interest. Developing quite a pleasantly leafy, slightly skunky hop nose as it warms. But tastes too like neat Kiora cordial for my liking.

3.7 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 15/20
Pale amber colour. Massive hop aroma. Flavour is quite sweet and fruity at first, a little malt also comes through. The bitter hop dryness completes the well rounded flavour.

2.8 AROMA 6/10 APPEARANCE 2/5 TASTE 5/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 12/20
Bottle. Golden with a thin head. Looks terrible in the clear bottle. Aromas are sweet biscuit malts with citrus. Some marmalade notes with some woodiness. Flavours are biscuit and caramel malts with sweet lemon. Dry hops but low bitterness. Reasonable.

2.2 AROMA 4/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 4/10 PALATE 2/5 OVERALL 9/20
Gold with a thin white head. Aroma of some very tired, stale hops with supporting honey. Flavour was subdued with a hint of honey and more hops which had seen better days. Poor.

2.7 AROMA 4/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 6/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 11/20
A hazy, golden orange coloured beer with only a light lacing of white head. The initial aroma on opening the bottle was of sweet fruits, peaches and apricots, but then a dull, damp hop smell comes in. The taste is dry and bitter, with plenty of the fruity elements from the aroma. Again, peaches, apricots and a hint of citrusy orange and grapefruit, there is a little hoppy flavour, which gives way to a dry malty taste in the finish. (Bottle - pasteurised, purchased from sainsbury’s, King’s Lynn, Norfolk for £ 1.59 a bottle).
