Nice dark colour with a strong but pleasant aroma. The taste is very malty with a strong caramel back taste, there is also a hint of toffee. Having said that it is very pleasant and the palate and after taste is very nice. ---Rated via Beer Buddy for iPhone

Bottle from Bellingers Garage, Grove, Near Wantage, Oxon purchased and consumed at home 28.08.12 Pours chestnut, good clarity with off-white head. A little nutty, some bitterness, earthy with just a little citrus maybe. Soft in the mouth a little plappy as Loz would call it, I think that I think lacks a little freshness. Fine.
