The pour is a clear golden color with a white head. Nose is really interesting and complex. Has an almost sake note to it. Lots of anise, grape, and fruits. Some golden raisin, a hint of banana, and some bready malt. The flavor is sweet and slightly sugary, but also has the weird phenols and esters. Anise, grape, banana, and pear all lend an interesting complexity and flavor profile. Some sweet malt, golden raisin, and fruit juice.
