A golden colored ale with crisp malt character and a slightly spicy hop aroma. We use a good amount of wheat and some German malt in this one to give it a very refreshing taste. Avenue Ale is a true session beer, so sit down and prepare for a long one.

Draft sample at their brewpub, clear golden color with white head. Aroma of toasted malt and slightly herbal. Taste adds some peppery/grassy hop bitterness. Light body, moderate carbonation, crisp with clean finish. Some faint character but overall a boring light drinker.

On cask on one dollar beer night. Weak aroma and light gold color. Nice lacing but sort of watery palate. Initial taste balanced and lightly hoppy, but lingering taste was dull bitter with a sort of canned goods tinge.

On tap at brewpub. Poured a pale golden yellow with two finger white puffy head. Smell is very light with a slight fruity sweetness. Taste follows the smell with a mild fruity sweetness and just a toch of bitterness. Finishe is refrehing but with very little aftertaste. Very easy to drink, but nothing real special.
