Location/Date:Draft at Fire Station 1, Silver Spring on 2/05/2013.
Appearance: Poured a clear medium orange.
Aroma: Aroma of faint citrus, hop.
Taste:Light bitter, faint citrus. At times didn’t realize it was an IPA.
Palate:Light body.
Summary: Fairly below average IPA. Not much hop presence, and at times didn’t even realize I was drinking an IPA, which is to say not a good thing.

Pretty bad IPA. Very sticky and a mouthfull with a really sweet floral flavor and finish. Not too many bittering hops for me and my taste.
3.4 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 12/20 rogue77 (2) - - OCT 3, 2012 does not count
aroma is semi-floral, pine, fresh grass, not getting so much citurs flavors (pinnaple, grapefruit, mango); appearance is clear orange amber, small off-white head, mild lacing; bitter/hops taste at front, some caramel and bready malts in background, lingering semi-bitter aftertaste, clean semi-dry finish; mild mouthfeel/medium body; not as hoppy as an ipa, taste more of a decent apa
3.3 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 12/20 streve (75) - Maryland, USA - JUL 31, 2012
Draft at Brewpub. Pour was a light orange color with a small white head. Aroma was mild, mostly of grapefruit and citrus. Mouth is mild as well. Not much bitterness but its full of grapefruit flavor and a hint of caramel. Medium body. Not much lacing. This, I would consider a Pale Ale, rather than an IPA.

Tap at Fire Station 1 in Silver Spring. Pours a clear light orange. Okay webby lacing. Odd chemical nose moving to decent citrus hops and big paper. Taste is citrus hoppy, sharp, rindy, with a papery finish. Mild oil. Just a little bland still. Chemical feeling. 5/3/6/3/11=2.8
3.4 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 13/20 Finhead (914) - OFallon, Illinois, USA - APR 23, 2012
A clear, gold pour with a white head. It has a fairly mild hop aroma. The light body has lively carbonation and a slightly bitter taste. Not very hoppy for an IPA, but makes a decent American Pale Ale.
2.8 AROMA 6/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 6/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 10/20 Braudog (5028) - Hampton, Virginia, USA - JAN 22, 2012
UPDATED: FEB 4, 2012 Draft at the #1 Fire Station restaurant. Pure amber with a thin top. Drinks like an amber lager, crisp and cleanly finished. Would be an awesome festbier or Vienna, but not what most people will expect from an IPA. (#4452, 1/21/2012)
3.3 AROMA 6/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 6/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 15/20 Block (1039) - Indianapolis, Indiana, USA - SEP 21, 2011
A decent IPA. Not too potent and very easy to drink. Golden pour with a small white head. Aroma is sweet and slightly hoppy. A light body with citrus and lemon hop flavor and a very mild bitter finish.

on tap-pours a retaining tight foamy off white head that laces and orange color. Aroma is soft sweet citrus-orange/pine, secondary medium malt/grain. Taste is malty medium malt-bready, secondary earthy/resin hops with some bite. ESBish.
3 AROMA 5/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 6/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 11/20 Bricks (457) - Delaware, USA - JUN 4, 2011
Faint, weak aroma.. a staple of this brewery (apparently). Definite citrus on the taste, not overly hoppy.. I liked it.
