Blisko temu do podłej porterówki. Fermentowanie RISa belgijskimi drożdżami to chyba zły pomysł.

Pitch black, one to two fingers, non-persistent, beige head. In aroma very dark, toasted, almost roasted and burned bread. Bit of sweet chocolate, black coffee and some strong alcohol, which gives awesome feeling, like port wine or sherry. In taste mostly roasted notes, with some coffee flavour in the back. Nice, quite strong bitterness as a finish. Perfectly covered alcohol, not even touch of it in taste. Mouthfeel is good as well. Not super thick and dense, but still - it has some body, almost full one. Good beer but I’m expecting bit more from imperial sout.

This bottled brew from a bottle shop poured a head of light brown colored bubbles that were mostly lasting and left behind a no visible carbonation opaque dark black brown colored body and a good lacing. The mild aroma was black malt. The vinous thick mouth feel was tingly at the start and at the finish with a medium roasted malt aftertaste. The yummy flavor contained notes of semi-sweet black malt roasted malt mildly vinous burnt malt and brown malt. Delicious and one I would certainly like to have again.

33cl bottle. Very dark brown pour with a beige head. Smells like cherries, almonds, roasted malts, lactose and coffee. Tastes pretty much the same as it smells, emphasis on milk chocolate, coffee and toffee. Medium to full bodied, smooth texture, low carbonation and a bitter-sweet aftertaste.

Tasting at Matt’s, batch 01/2015
Black color with brownish head. Aroma of roasted malt, some rubber, some roasted nuts. Medium thin body, some roasted taste, alcoholic, too much carbdboard.
Good beer, not an impressive Imperial Stout.
