33cl bottle. Very dark brown pour with a beige head. Smells like cherries, almonds, roasted malts, lactose and coffee. Tastes pretty much the same as it smells, emphasis on milk chocolate, coffee and toffee. Medium to full bodied, smooth texture, low carbonation and a bitter-sweet aftertaste.

Black, light brown little lacing foam head. Strong chocolate coffee aroma and similar in taste. Nice stout. (Velp 201607)

Tasting at Matt’s, batch 01/2015
Black color with brownish head. Aroma of roasted malt, some rubber, some roasted nuts. Medium thin body, some roasted taste, alcoholic, too much carbdboard.
Good beer, not an impressive Imperial Stout.

330mL bottle, pours black with a medium tan / light brown head. Aroma brings out dry bitter dark chocolate and a touch of roast. Flavour is sludgy as hell, with chocolate fudge, muffled roast, and some earthy dryness on the finish. Quite muffled and earthy, with quite a muted set of flavours. It’s okay, but not my kind of impie stout.

Bottle at PIB 2016. Colour...basically black with a thin tan head. Nose...roasted nuts, dark chocolate and burnt grain. Palate...tangy, lightly tart and brimming with dark chocolate and notes of coffee. The mid palate is dry and the finish is fairly long with toasted malt.

Obfita, brązowa piana, z licznymi grubymi oczkami, sycząca, szybko znikająca prawie do zera. Barwa prawie czarna, nieprzejrzysta z pływającymi drobinkami. Aromat czekoladowo kawowy z nutą starego drewna.

Bottle. Head is initially average sized, frothy, brown, mostly diminishing. Body is opaque black (flashlight tested). Aroma is moderately malty (dark chocolate, roasted grain), with light notes of ash, tar, berry. Flavor is moderately to heavily sweet, lightly acidic, lightly bitter. Finish is lightly to moderately sweet, lightly acidic, moderately bitter. Medium to full body, watery/velvety texture, lively carbonation, moderately to heavily alcoholic. Kinda generic and uninteresting overall. Rather watery and unfulfilling mouthfeel. Meh.

Bottle. Sensoric. Pitch black with medium to big, densed, light brown head. Poor lacing, medicore head retention. Aroma is strong roasted malts with some woody and earthy notes. Mainly you can experience strong coffe accents and dark chocolate, some really lightly dark fruits notes and touch of booze in the end. Taste is semid-dry, medium bitter (roasted malts) and some coffee acidicy. Full body, sticky and oily texture, soft carbonation, finish is dry and medium bitter. In general nice, roasted-style RIS, definetely worth trying.

Aroma: Drop, lichtelijk koffie, chocolade, Appearance: donker, mooie schuimkraag. Taste: Drop, bittere afdronk.
