Bottle. Sensoric. Pitch black with medium to big, densed, light brown head. Poor lacing, medicore head retention. Aroma is strong roasted malts with some woody and earthy notes. Mainly you can experience strong coffe accents and dark chocolate, some really lightly dark fruits notes and touch of booze in the end. Taste is semid-dry, medium bitter (roasted malts) and some coffee acidicy. Full body, sticky and oily texture, soft carbonation, finish is dry and medium bitter. In general nice, roasted-style RIS, definetely worth trying.

(White Pony Black Sheep Imperial Stout) Bottle 330 ml at home, served into a snifter, ABV 10.1% Black coloured beer with one finger of dark brown head on top, good density and pretty good retention. Nice aroma with light roasted malts, lots of dark and milky chocolate, light fruity notes and alcohol after some deep sniffing. Taste also of roasted malts, fruity touches, again plenty of chocolate, ash and coal on the finish, well hidden alcohol. Medium thick body with soft carbonation. Very good, pleasant surprise.

330 ml bottle, from the Norwegian importer. ABV is 10.1%. Pitch black colour, moderate tan head. Nice roasty aroma, notes of fortified wine, oak, leather, liquorice, hints of chocolate and espresso coffee. Smooth flavour, moderate roast, fortified wine, chocolate, hints of vanilla and oak, moderate hops. Very easy drinking for its strength. Lovely beer.

Ottima interpretazione di una Imperial stout tra l americano e il belga...maltata ma allo stesso tempo con un finale amaro piacevole che nasconde la gradazione. Leggero sapido...adorabile!

Pours black with a dark tan head. Nose shows coffee liqueur, bready malt and toasty notes. Flavours include toasty malt, coffee, chocolate. Lots of dry roast too, and some more liquorice.
