Bottle @ De Tolly joogipood, Tartu, Estonia.
Pours with big brown head. Aroma of burnt caramel, malt, chocolate, slightly sweet. Taste of dark chocolate, sweet and mild bitterness, coffee. High carbonisation, but the biggest suprise was that the alcohol wasn´t noticeble, very good beer.

Black with light brown big foam. Lot of caramel, licorice, dried fruits, berries and chocolate. Taste is awesome. My favourite with strongest than ever. Please give me another one! Do not drink it too cold, it would be like a licorice soup.

Bottle at Nuet Brussels. Black beer collar tan bubbles. It?s a gusher. Some landed on the floor. Big choc aroma way too carbonated so had to decant to another glass. Still lots of chocolate. Mid dark chocolate. Some bitterness on finish. Quite a dry beer. Not sweet at all. Tasty mid dark chocolate porter with a dry bitter finish. Decent. A little praline nuttiness

Body is medium to full, malty - light oat and lightly sweetish flavor, light roasted malt and coffee, light hoppyness and some alcohol. Finish is average to long, malty - light oat and lightly sweetish, light roasted malt and coffee with light hoppyness, alcohol. OK lightly roasted strong porter. Too much alcohol in the finish considering the body.

3.8 AROMA 10/10 APPEARANCE 5/5 TASTE 6/10 PALATE 2/5 OVERALL 15/20
0.33L bottle. Pours black with a small brown head. Potent aroma profile, with lots of coffee / roasted malt, vinous, berries, some cooked vegetable. Medium sweet flavor at beginning. Some of the berry flavors come through in the middle, then it transitions to dry, roasted malt bitterness, with lingering coffee and alcohol flavors. Full body with a sticky mouthfeel and mild carbonation, and cloying sugars. Overall, a very tasty beer. Aromas are great, and the flavor, though not omplex, hits the right notes for a porter.

Bottle at Cafe Frape Maastricht. Black body with small tan head. Merges notes typically found in London Porters with icy Belgian yeast and ample quantities of warming alcohol. Taste is a tad harsh upfront but quickly mellows to reveal depth an complexity. Strong chocolate and coffee, noticeable hops.
