distinctly average, pale yellow beer, too sweet to be easy drinking despite low ABV. malty, somewhat biscuity, hops underwhelming. cask in Kelham Island Tavern, Sheffield

Kelham Island Tavern, Sheffield. Very pale yellow. A lagerish beer - quite dry with a pleasant balance. Modern style. Nice enough.

A Mes rate: Cask in the Kelham Island Tavern in Sheffield.
The fifth beer in a row that I am going to describe as pale gold with a thin white head. I was getting a bit bored at this point but thankfully this one stood out a bit. Sweetish earthy malt with some decent bitter hoppage. Really drinkable with a good bitter finish. Good amount of character for a 3.9% abv. Nice and dry on the palate. Decent.

Cask at the Kelham Island Tavern, Sheffield, on RateBeer Valley of Beer Crawl ’08. Thanks to SilkTork for this . Gold with a sweetish hop aroma. Citric taste and a mid bitter finish. Quite good on a warm day in the Valley, but so predictable.
