750ml bottle, courtesy hopscotch. Pours a clear, still, light golden-straw color with no visible legging. The aroma primarily shows notes of blonde honey with a slightly herbal hint, most notably basil. Flavors come through the same, initially quite sweet and honey laden, with a slight tinge of bright green, leafy herbaciousness for depth. Slick on the tongue, the palate is substantial, but not nearly what I would consider to be full bodied for a mead. Honey lingers on the finish. Overall, this is a solid, interesting little mead, but it’s not something I’m crazy to hunt down again.

@RLRL with Orlando group-thanks to hopscotch-750ml bottle-pours no head and clear straw color that sheets on glass. Aroma is herbal, sharp. Taste is sweet light malt-honey, herbal, sharp, mint. OK effervescence.

Bottle … Clear, light straw-colored mead. No legs. The deep, meaty aroma offers standout notes of fallen apples and tree nuts. Full-bodied with a crystallized mouthfeel – no carbonation. Sugary-sweet nectar bliss. Not necessarily big on apples; just big, bold, fruity and sweet. Lengthy, sugary finish.

Bottled. A light golden mead with no head. The aroma is sweet with notes of honey and rather spicy combined with notes of roses. The flavor is sweet with noets of honey, flowers - especially roses, and lots of alcohol. The alcohol leaves a light burn in the mouth. Thanks Papsoe for sharing.

(Bottled). Clear yellow color, no head. Flowers, tobacco, leather and orange marmalade in the nose. Flavor has clover, green apples and honey. It dries till the end. Not overly sweet, quite "drinkable" mead.
