Delicious and delightful. It has an aroma that is part riesling and part chardonnay, and a strong, sweet taste that is never overwhelming and gives way to a tart finish. Very nice.

Bottle. That "with natural flavors" bit bugs me. Probably just means acid blend or tannin but whatever. Nose is softly floral with minty notes, moderate sweetness and subdued fermentation character. Light alcohol notes accompany the blossom notes. On tasting, closer to semi-sweet than sweet, imo. Lighter bodied for a sweet mead. Lowish acidity. The mint comes back through. Clean. Pretty classic traditional mead but feels somewhat uninspired. Balanced.

Bottle at White Winter Winery on Nov. 18, 2011. Clear pour with sweet honey on the nose and taste. Just a hint of spice as well.

Spicy sweet honey on the nose, slightly peppery, nice aroma. Pours clear blonde no carbonation. Smooth mouth feel, tangy honey flavors with hints of sweet tangerines and slightly spicy. Nice mead.

Bottle. Pour was very light yellow with great lacing. Aroma of light but real warm clove honey and light pear. very light and smooth in the mouth with a balanced sweetness that is not too sticky. Pretty decent mead. Not great but decent.

As you might expect, this mead is very sweet. But at the same time it has a nice dry taste for a good balance. One of my favorite offerings from White Winter.

ABR 2008. Aroma of honey along with a little floral aroma. Flavor is quite sweet, nice palate.

Bottle from stine - thanks! Lighter color with a lighter aroma of orange blossom and maybe some wildflower. Flavor is a nice, sweet treat with some cinnamon, orange blossom, oranges, and assorted wildflowers. Smooth feel. Not fantastic, but a decent mead. For a "sweet" mead it should be a bit more aggressive in my opinion.

Pale yellow glass coating liquid. Not much as far as legs. Light alcohol, yeast, plaster and mild floral aromas. Sweet indeed. Iím not catching the less favorable qualities found in the aroma. Flavors of raisins and clean clover honey. Actually quite light on the palate. Quite simple and sweet and just a hint of floral essence to lift it a bit.
