Bottle - thanks Ben! Pours clear auburn with a large pillowy beige head that dissipates slowly with nice lacing. Aroma is caramel, roasted malts, toffee, cardboard. Flavor is the same, medium sweet, coffee, light finishing coffee bitterness and astringence. Medium body. I would have thought it was a brown ale, but perhaps it is a bit too hoppy for that.

Bottle thanks to Beersiveknown. Pours a nice glowing red brown colour with short lasting off white head. Fruity caramel aroma, some sharp red apple and dried fruit, raisins toffee. Taste is kind of tangy caramel and toffee with dried fruit, raisins. Quite dry with a tangy finish. Not like any porter I’ve ever had and altogether a bit of a strange beer. Interesting though

Cask conditioned at Bull and Castle, Dublin. Deep murky ruby with thin crown of off-white froth. Aroma gives some red fruit (cherries), some very sweet toffee, and some light roasted malt. Taste gives a bit of slighty-too-sour fruit: cherries are there, but a bit weird - not necessarily bad though. Caramel and light roasted malt come through too. Some lightly astringent hoppiness to finish, with earthy and light citric notes staying on the palate. Not bad. A bit odd - ordering a porter, you won't expect this. Found it to be closer to an Irish red ale - not much of note going on, but tasty enough.
3.5 AROMA 8/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 13/20 Creedence (127) - Cork, IRELAND - APR 29, 2013
500ml bottle at Bierhaus. Pours a hazy dark ruby with a pillowy off-white head. Strong chocolate, turkish delight, and slight liquorice on the nose. Med sweetness, light smoky bacon, light sourness. Quite grassy and chocalatey flavour. Smooth carbonation, medium body. Malty sweet aftertaste, quite dry. Very tasty and interesting, but a bit rough around the edges. Definitely worth a try though.

Piana kremowa gruba i utrzymujaca sie sporo czasu. Smak cudny, tresciwy mocmy akcent aromatycznego chmielu co zadkie w porterze. Pozostale aromaty to karmelowe i lekko czekoladow-piernikowe. Swietna mieszanka smaku.

Dark copper pour with very little head. Caramel and citrus aroma, some chocolate. Flavour was chocolate, caramel, dried fruit and a good lingering grapefruity bitterness.

Bottle at the parents, sourced from Tesco by the Old Man - cheers, 26/01/13.
Pours a ruby red copper colour with a thin off white head that clears to the edge and leaves a swirl of film. Not exactly Porter-esque in appearance!
Nose is light roast malt, dark fruits, plums, dates, hint of spice, light chocolate.
Taste follows nose, roast malt, some milky chocolate, Oreo biscuits, tangy dark fruits in the background, molasses, tobacco.
Medium bodied, soft carbonation, fairly smooth on the palate, dry finish.
