50 cl Bottle @ pre-GBBF shindig, August 2009. Dark brown colour with a tan head. Dry and quite dusty. Some chocolate. Roasty mouthfeel. Pleasant, easygoing if unexceptional stuff.

Chriso Shindig Aug 2009. Creamy with licorice flavours and a nice gentle tang at the end. Pleasant enough, however, this doesn’t quite hold together for me

Bottled. Close to black colour, snmall beige head. Aroma is roasted malts, liquorice, some hops and mild notes of fruits. Flavour is quite much the same in a very pleasant balance.

Thanks to Chris and Judy for this one. Very dark brown. Ashy malt aroma with dark chocolate notes. Sweet roasted taste with a little sourness and late dryness. A very approachable stout.
