3.1 AROMA 6/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 5/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 14/20
Bottle. Pours a clear amber with no head. The aroma is strong floral hop and pine. Thin mouthfeel with a very strong hop bite and lingering bitter finish. Hides the alcohol well, a good IPA from Wicked Beaver.

2.5 AROMA 4/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 4/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 10/20
651 ml. bottle. 7.21% ABV per the label. Pours an enormous, gradually collapsing ivory head, with heavy sea-foam lacing over a slightly hazy amber (SRM 10) body......nose is slight pine, cereal malts, balance slightly to the hops.....taste is slightly sweet, with light cereal, mild pine, hints of resin, light phenolic notes, mild bitterness.....mouth feel, slightly light of medium body, mild alcohol warmth. This is really not an IPA, it is more of an APA, but a bad one at that. At least this time the beer is not obviously, grossly infected, as was the last sample from this brewery. The recipe needs a major re-work. They use Ogallala Aquifer Water could that be part of their problem? BJCP 5/1/9/4/5

3/3/2014. 22 oz. bottle. Pours amber with a white head. Yeasty and caramel aromas with malty flavors. Does not resemble an IPA in a lot of ways. Some weird sour stale flavors.

Hazy golden orange pour. Thick off white head. Citrus hop aroma. Grapefruit, lemon, orange, dank. Medium bready malt. Hop crispness up front. Grapefruit and orange. Middle of the tongue brings in mild malt sweetness. Finish is back to pretty bitter and dry grapefruit.

Bottle from Fratto, which was provided at his lovely house next door to a super hot girl that did not come out while I was here. I tried to look over the fence but I looked over at the wrong time I'm choosing not present in the backyard and longer. This was saddening to me until Fratto show me a picture of her on his Facebook. Then I was happy. I will I do this. Anamile. Yes. This is oh and hops ingrained smells.
