2.8 AROMA 5/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 6/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 11/20 ShaneJ (84) - AUSTRALIA - APR 27, 2013
Bottle from Slowbeer. Hazy pale golden, mild caramel malt aroma, some citrus hops, smooth, easy drinking, thin body, some residual sweetness and bitterness, a little bit peppery/spicy. Not bad, probably enjoy it more if it was summer.

Bottle, Pours a light golden with some light hazing. Aromas are quite subtle. Perhaps a little light malt without much else. Flavours are likewise a little thin. Light malt sweetness up front with a slight bitter hop finish. Some peppery spiciness comes through in the aftertaste.Quite watery.
2.5 AROMA 4/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 5/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 10/20 Maris (751) - Canberra, AUSTRALIA - FEB 14, 2013
From a 330ml bottle on 14/2/2013. Pours a clear yellow golden with a medium white fluffy head. Not much to mention aroma wise - just a little bready malt. The flavour is disappointingly bland, with some more bready malt and a touch of citrus fruit (lemon). Finishes with a mild to medium bitterness. Have quite enjoyed Wicked Elf’s previous offerings so this was a bit of a let down.

2.8 AROMA 6/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 5/10 PALATE 2/5 OVERALL 12/20 Davros (1481) - Melbourne, AUSTRALIA - JAN 30, 2013
Pours gold with a large fading head.
Nose shows some bready and biscuity malt with fainy sulphurous notes and a fair whack of spicy hops.
A little of the bready malt follows as a flavour and some of the hops but otherwise its a bit dull. Very weak bitterness results in a seemingly sweet beer.
Body feels a bit watery.

Bottle, 10C. Pale gold with an inch of white head that lasts and leaves clumps of lacing. High bead. Aroma of hay, pears, spices, flowers. Light bodied. Taste is of pears and light grain with modest bitterness. A few lingering spices. Pleasant refreshing drop.
3.5 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 15/20 mkel07 (2340) - Brisbane, AUSTRALIA - JAN 12, 2013
On tap at Archive Beer Boutique. Poured clean and crisp and quite clear in the glass with a very pure white head of foam that sits and hangs around for a while. This beer is very refreshing, especially given the temperature outside. Crisp and clean in the mouth with a fruity aftertaste left on the palate. Very mild bitterness with a lot of lacing left on the glass.
