3.6 AROMA 8/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 14/20 BeerChaser0078 (909) - Melbourne, - NOV 10, 2009Bottle. Clear amber pour with a creamy beige head that lasts. Aroma has lots of floral hops and notes of toffee, pine, citrus and lavender. Flavour is also hoppy with notes of caramel, honey, malt and citrus. Light body, smooth but slightly thin mouthfeel and a long dry and mildly bitter finish. A good APA, quite sessionable, could be more robust though.

Massive citrus hops aroma, quite a surprise.
Pours amber, flat head.
Taste medium bitterness,
Being tasting so many average beers its good to get one above the average.
Oily Texture, It’s an abrupt finish, but enjoyable while it lasted.
3.7 AROMA 6/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 8/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 16/20 Bif (1020) - St. Louis, Missouri, USA - NOV 6, 2012
Bottle- Pours a a rich amber color with a good head that fades to nice lacing. Aroma of citrus and pine with some malt sweetness in the background. Taste of mild pine with an easy malt sweetness and bit of spice. Mild bitterness and a clean finish. Medium body, smooth with a bit of character. Nicely balanced. A quality Pale Ale, good for a few. Worth checking out.

Bottle. A pleasing citrus hop aroma, nice malt undertones and nice hop bitterness throughout and finishes with a lovely lingering hop bitterness.
3.4 AROMA 6/10 APPEARANCE 5/5 TASTE 6/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 14/20 ALLOVATE (2098) - Butler, AUSTRALIA - MAY 10, 2012
One I’ve tried a few times with differing results. Definitely comes across as one that’s better quaffed fresh at the brewery as the hops don’t quite pull off what they set out to achieve. 5 on 5 for appearance. Radiant and shimmering, fiery copper body with minute flecks of proteins in suspension. Very fine, intermittent carbonation holds steady a two-finger, dense and satiny smooth, off-white crown that manages some solid lace-work. Sticky, sweet toffee and cereal-like toasted malts dominate the aroma with a grassy and citrus fruit edge. Quite grainy, dry and cereal-like on first sip. Citrus is reserved to the bitter side, like under-ripe oranges and lime zest. Assertively bitter, herbal, dry and grassy finish to it drops off without a trace. Yeasty also, mildly sulphurous but nothing too alarming. Shows good balance, a light body and moderate carbonation. Easily knock back a few without too much effort. Pour a clear amber colour with an off-white head. Aroma is cirtus hops. Taste is also citrus, light fruits leading to a modest bitter finish. Slightly watery. Overall, not bad.
3 AROMA 4/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 12/20 Rosslew (35) - AUSTRALIA - JAN 25, 2012
Pours nicely with a solid white head and a rich copper tone. Not a strong head retention. Nice aroma and strong orange-like taste on top of mouth. Seems more like American pale ale.

Bottle from Mane Liquor. Opaque amber pour with a small beige head. Rather sweet nose on this one. Candy and floral hops with a touch of citrus. Citrus in the taste with sweet candy and sweet toffee behind it all. Surprisingly has decent length. Pretty average

UPDATED: MAR 17, 2012 330mL bottle pours golden with a creamy lasting head and an amazing sweet lemon/lime aroma. This is my re-rate of this beer and i’m so glad i decided to try it again because its blowing me away. The sweet citrus flavours are backed by some quality malts. The best before on this bottle is 3.1.12 so i’m guessing its only 1-2 months old.
