Hazed gold rocky permanent head. Pineapple candy, tutti-frutti brett, salt, lemon oil / lemon zest aroma impression. Medium bodied, off-dry to dry, lightly bitter with some sugar cookie maltiness. It’s vibrant, zesty, floral and honey-ish to begin, but turns more basic, farm-y, chalky as it opens, and becomes more lactic.

Bottle. Head is initially large, frothy, white, mostly lasting. Body is hazy medium yellow. Aroma is lightly malty (toasted grain), lightly hoppy (flowers), lightly yeasty (cobwebs), with light notes of pineapple, pepper, concrete. Flavor is lightly to moderately sweet, moderately to heavily acidic, lightly bitter. Finish is lightly sweet, moderately to heavily acidic, moderately bitter. Medium body, watery texture, lively carbonation, lightly to moderately alcoholic. First pour aroma starts out pretty nice with the pineapple-ish note but devolves into something less enticing and duller after not much time at all. Nice flavor balance and mouthfeel though, and the head is large and long-lasting. Quite solid but lacking 4+ brilliance.

500m shared at a tasting. Thick, unfiltered yellow tan. Creamy, thick, white head. Great mouthfeel, way above par for a US Saison. Some bubblegum. Not overly brett forward. Really solid beer.
