COMMERCIAL DESCRIPTION
Inspired by a Hendricks gin basil cooler, Coolcumber is made with cucumber, basil and juniper berries. Just like making a great cocktail this beer is dosed carefully with its ingredients to create a one of a kind flavor experience. Golden in color and wonderfully drinkable.

Pours a slightly hazy golden yellow on tap with fluffy white head. Aroma is big on the vegetal cucumber with hints of spicy pine and earth, malty backbone. Taste is more towards the malt and the cucumber, sweet and crisp, like drinking a salad. No sign of the booze, easy and refreshing, nicely done. Apparently down to 4.9% abv now, according to the menu.

Tap @ Tylerís Carboro - I had this one a couple days ago and really enjoyed the refreshing vegetal, cucumber notes in the beer. Somehow this one works. It reminds me of a refreshing summer salad in alcoholic form.

Draft at Tylerís Taproom Carrboro. Pours golden with a white head. Doesnít leave much lacing. Definielty smells of cucumbers. Tastes like cucumbers as well though itís a bit more subdued than I was expecting. Seems like a. Good summer or early evening beer.

Growler shared by one of the NC guys - thanks, Sam or Anthony! Pours a clear, bright gold with a small white head. Simultaneously clean and earthy - notes of cucumbers abound, with pale malts, grass, basil, and juniper berries. Light-bodied, with low to moderate carbonation and a clean, earthy mouthfeel. Pretty good experiment.

Pint on tap. Clear golden with a lasting ring of cream. Nose is cucumber and a bit of toast. Taste is cucumber and seems like dill as well, maybe some wheat cracker on the finish. Light-medium carbonation and body is refreshing.

Pint At Tylerís Apex. Good aroma. Strong on the basil. Less so on the juniper and even less on the cuke. Clean orangy gold color. Ok head and lace. Bitter flavor. Light body creamy smooth mouthfeel. Spice bitter finish. Itís ok. Flavor gets real bitter. Aroma best part for me. Flavor kind of harsh.

Cloudy pale blonde pour with one finger of white head. Smell and tastes a lot like water that has cooked crayfish....a lot. Light cucumber flavor with some vegetal bitterness. Not. A. Fan.

Growler share thanks to beechner224. Very clear, pale yellow, thin white head. Aroma is spicy, sweet, vegetal/cucumber. Light malt, light/sweet cucumber notes, spicy. Refreshing...Not bad for a cucumber beer.
