Inspired by a Hendricks gin basil cooler, Coolcumber is made with cucumber, basil and juniper berries. Just like making a great cocktail this beer is dosed carefully with its ingredients to create a one of a kind flavor experience. Golden in color and wonderfully drinkable.

Asheville, NC - on tap at Wicked Wee. Hazy medium orange pour, soapy white head. Aroma of fresh potting soil, some cucumbers. Flavor presents some melon fruitiness, a touch of basil spiciness, some cucumber tartness, a back end of earthy topsoil. Crisp mouthfeel . Nice diversion while waiting for our table. .

Presented with a sliced cucumber. Extremely light and refreshing. Great choice for a nice summer day.

Draft to taster at Wicked Weed. Looks solid; a completely transparent lighter gold with white head that steadily dissipates into lacing. Smells like cucumber and juniper berries. Tastes like it smells, but more balanced. The cucumber shines through on the tongue. Solid on the palate with a fairly dry mouthfeel. Solid beer.

On tap at GABF 2013, blend of fresh herbs, tastes like peppered cucumbers, interesting.

draft, bright yellow with white head and served with a cucumber slice. first off not a huge fan but the aroma was like taking the cucumber plant and a hand full of dirt from the garden and just smelling it...this is not a bad thing. the flavor is cucumber, basil and juniper berries. interesting mix but yet it works. rating is based on style and not really my opinion. my friend loved it.

On tap at Wicked Weed. Served with a cucumber slice garnish. Pours a pale gold with a white ring of head that leaves some fair lacing. Cucumber and basil very present on the nose, with some light dust and malt notes. Some sweetness, with a fair bitterness. Lighter bodied, actively carbed, with a crisp cucumber bitter finish. Somewhat hilarious, quite quenching, not bad.

Growler from brewery. Pours clear golden with white head. Aromas of mostly basil with some cucumber is background. Flavor is dominated by basil with cucumber and juniper taking a bit of a backseat with this one. Easy drinking and still enjoyable.

Clear gold. Really interesting bouqet with the basil and juniper. The cucumber comes through in the flavor. Refreshing, but fairly heavily spiced.

The first two raters called it, so what more can I say? This golden-hued beer is a doughy but refreshing spicy cucumber quaff with notes of basil and maybe a hint of juniper. Unique and able to wet your whistle, even with its dry finish.

UPDATED: JUN 13, 2013 Yellow, thin white head. Smells grainy, juniper and basil. Flavor is a lot of juniper, basil, pine, and then a good deal of cucumber flavor, especially as it warms. There is also a touch of hop bitterness, as well. Very refreshing, to say the least. When (if) Wicked Weed starts bottling, this would be a good place to start.
