4.1 AROMA 8/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 8/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 17/20
This was my favorite from WW. Pours a hazy bright golden with a big white head. Nose of saison yeast and light tropical fruits, though I wouldn’t have suspected real fruit in the brew. Hay and wood and light funk. Taste adds a dry acetic quality and more wood, almost a bit closer to Chardonnay but much drier. Crisp and refreshing. I could drink this all day.

Blond, no head. Aroma is slightly fruity but lacking. Lots of fruit in the flavor with a bitter finish. Decent.

3.4 AROMA 6/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 13/20
Shared 2014 bottle.
Light on funk but medium-high sourness.
Nice complexity lends high interest.
Low funk lends drinkability.

3.7 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 8/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 15/20
My Bottom Line:
Elderberries, white grapes and rosemary allusions whirl around this Wild Ale’s cracking cereals for a complex libation.
Further Personal Perceptions:
-A ring of foam circles the clear straw yellow.
-The fruity aromas could’ve come from a variety of sources, not necessarily the fruit added.
-The mouthfeel is super dry.
-The nose was pretty phenolic at first.

3.5 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 8/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 14/20
A blonde ale with a very thin white head. In aroma, very sharp tart lemon juice and light Brett, lactic acid, Epsom salts, very nice. In mouth, a light fruity dry malt with light grape skin, light fruity esters, faint tropical fruits, nice and smooth. Bottle at Funkatorium.
