This ale is made in the Belgian tradition with Noble hops and our Belgian yeast giving this blonde golden colored ale a wonderfully complex spicy clove like aroma and subtle dried apricot, and biscuit like flavor. This beer is a wonderful entry level Belgian beer for anyone unsure of Belgian styles.

Growler from WW. Pours a bright golden with a lovely white head and nice lacing. Nose of Noble hops but also cloves, Belgian yeast, some grass and earthy notes. Taste is a bit too earthy and spicy. Wanted a bit more of the hops. Worked well after 9 holes this afternoon though.

Draft at brewpub. Pours golden with an inch of white foam. Leaves some lacing in the glass. Has a bit of that Belgian yeast thing on the nose. A bit perfumed on the tongue which is par for the course given the style. Finishes clean. Solid but a bit dull.

A bit of a surprise-an above average blond ale. More tart than I was expecting definitely. Quite tasty. ---Rated via Beer Buddy for iPhone

On tap at Wicked Weed. Pours a clear golden yellow color with white head. Hay, yeasty, malty, barn aromas. Nice Belgian, yeasty, straw flavors. Very nice belgian style beer!

10 oz pour. Cloudy orange color. Aroma is tastefully fruity with notes of apricot, bubblegum and cloves. It’s a clean and balanced beer, almost as graceful as a fine authentic Belgian. Palate is medium. Finish is spiced with a bit of anise and a healthy does of clove.

This draft brew from the brewery poured a small sized head of foamy finely sized white colored bubbles that were quickly diminishing and left behind a softly carbonated transparent yellow orange colored body and a fair lacing. The mild aroma was malty. The mouth feel was tingly at the start and at the finish. The nice flavor contained notes of mild rye sweet honey and hops. A decent one that I would consider drinking again.

UPDATED: FEB 21, 2013 Brewvival Trip Beer 28. Pours a clear golden color with a medium sized frothy white head. Good head retention. Aroma of spice, herbal notes, bread, candied peaches and honey. The taste is tart fruits, bread, spice, honey. Lingering tartness. Medium bodied. Nice beer.
