Just like the French leader, small doesnít always mean wimpy. This 4.5% session-able IPA is big on flavor; dry hopped with Amarillo, Cascade, Centennial and Columbus hops at a rate of 1.75 pounds per barrels! If you crave hops then this beer is for you!

Growler that I bought for TURDFERGSON, which he then generously shared with me. Nose of lovely citrusy hops; some resin and skunk as well. Just mad freshness. Taste is slightly thin, as expected, but still full of flavor. Extra points for clocking in under 5%. I could (and hopefully will) drink a lot of this.

On tap at Wicked Weed upstairs. Pretty great for a session and a as summer thirst quencher. Mostly golden with a hint of orange pour and a smallish white head. Citrus, pine, floral, herbs and just enough dank to be interesting. Super crisp- goes down quickly. Nice dry finish. Clean. Really well done.

Orangish yellow IPA. Thick white head. Well balanced with a malty biscuit backbone. Floral, spicy aroma, some citrus throughout. Decent, but forgettable. Tried at the brewery in 2015.

Keg @ Wicked Weed. Gold pour with a small white head. Ridiculously aromatic nose. Loads of fresh cut herb. Petty unique. Some garlic, Lemon, orange peel. Flowers. Taste is super dry. Nice delicate creamy malts let the floral hop character take the main stage. Lovely. Wow.

Draft at the brewpub. Pours a clear golden color with a large creamy head. Good head retention, nice lacing. Aroma of resin, pine, herbal, citrus hops. The taste is bitter resin, pine hops and pale malts. Medium bodied, lingering bitterness.

Draft at the brewpub. This is my kind of beer. Hoppy nose, grassy, citrus, piney... Taste is citrus, piney, grassy but well balanced and easy to drink. Could of swore this beer had a nice dankyness to it but took terrible notes. Body is on the lighter side but tons of flavor for a low alcohol content beer. Overall good stuff!

Pours orange-gold with a bubbly head. Lots of citrus hop aromas. Fresh and lively. Packs a ton of flavor for a low alcohol beer. Clean palate and not too drying. Awesome!

10 oz at the brewpub. Here?s another excellent hoppy beer from Wicked Weed. Though this is lighter, it doesn?t sacrifice so much body as to be confused with an APA. Loads of hops are everywhere. It?s primarily evergreen, almost minty with a backdrop of citrus. Flavor is all about the hops with more bitterness cutting through the flavor. Notes of rosemary, pine and citrus everywhere. Really great beer, especially for a <%5.

32oz growler, thanks to durhambeer for picking me up growlers from the brewery. Pours hazy orange golden, medium small bubbled sudsy white head. Nose is lots of tropical fruits including coconut, skunky dank pot, pine, light must, guava, light pepper , Belgian yeast esters. Flavor is super smooth. Maybe the Belgian type yeast they are using is meant to dry out the beer as much as possible, Iím not sure. Itís kind of annoying, and Iím still unsure how I feel about it. But for a 4.5%, I canít argue that this isnít a pretty fuckin awesome ipa. Well done.
