hazy red-chestnut, thick large bubbled cream head lasts. Heavy berry and red wine, brown sugar oude bruin element. Fizzy black cherry front palate, lightly waxy as sweet, watery mid before stinging sugar and berry dark/sweetness ends the beer. Acid and sugar controlled, fruit expressive. One of the better Wicked Weed sours.

Bottle thanks to cgarvieuk dregs run. Appearance - cloudy dark brown. Nose - wood and sour toffee. Taste - tangy herby red fruit or olives. Salt. Wood lurking. Palate - medium bodied with a tangy texture and a long dry tangy finish. Overall - acidic dry start. Some fruit in the middle and then it goes back to the bitter olive.

Big hazy mahogany red and a neat fluffy off white cuff. Nose is puffy berry, charred hungover red wine. Initial taste is a tarry sweetness, proper oaky dryness and spicy Jolly rancher sweetness. Carbonation is sleek and mouthfeel rich and a decent kick from the tartness. Finishes strongly tart, very a rich warming winey funk. Linger is a bit more warming spice but more of the same. Mmmmmmm.

Bottle, CGarvieUK 10th Anniversary Tasting
