COMMERCIAL DESCRIPTION
Poperinge is the largest hop growing region in Belgium. With this in mind, our Poperinge Belgian IPA is made with heaps of Belgian grown hops and fermented with our Belgian yeast. Aromas of sweet pine, bubble gum and a hint of lemon make this beer an easy drinking treat.

Clean sharp gold pour with one finger of off white head. Nose is very soft and floral with aromatics reminiscent of Tripel Karmeliet. Dry and peppery with a prominent bitterness and zesty hop bittnerness. Dry and light bodied.

From a 32oz growler shared by JD at Beer Study. Thanks dude! Pours hazy golden with a small whispy white head. Nose shows lots of belgian yeast, esters, light pepper, light pine. Flavor is similar, again more Belgian yeasty than hoppy, though some floral and citrus notes show through after it decants a bit and warms up. Solid, look forward to trying more from this new NC brewery.

16 oz. pour at the brewpub. This is a lightly hazy gold with a white head. Aroma is supremely refreshing with soft fruity esters and floral hops. The palate is spritzy and light. Balanced fruity notes with tasteful bubblegum work with the hops which add a citrus bite, but dont come too much into the foreground. This is really nice.

This draft brew from the brewery poured a small sized head of foamy finely sized white colored bubbles that were mostly lasting and left behind a uncarbonated transparent light orange colored body and a good lacing. The mild aroma was malty. The mouth feel was tingly at the start and at the finish with a mellow fruity aftertaste. The nice flavor contained notes of wheat fruity and hops. A decent one that I would consider drinking again.

UPDATED: FEB 21, 2013 Brewvival Trip Beer 29. Draft at the brewpub. Pours a clear golden color with a large frothy white head. Good head retention. Aroma of herbal, floral, earthy hops and bready malts. The taste is herbal hops, stone fruits, bread. Medium bodied. Nice beer.

Pours a translucent golden orange on tap with a foamy white head that dissipates to leave decent lacing. Aroma of grassy hops, pine, belgian yeast that lends to banana and bubble gum esters with the malts. Taste is mostly the belgian yeast, but the hops kick in to leave a citrusy bitter bite on the end. Pretty good, but not the best of their beers. 6% abv according to the menu.

Transparent orange with a white foamy head, summery/grassy hops aroma. Lemon verbena flavor, not too bitter.

Murky yellow, loose ring of foam. Smells like fruity, citrusy hops, but there are some yeasty, sweet notes in there. Flavor is citrusy, with grass and bread. Some yeasty, fruity notes, too. Dryish finish.
