Brewed with local Riverbend malt, honey, sweet potato and grits! Spice and sweet potato in the nose, a hint of grits and a dry tart finish.

Draft to taster at Wicked Weed. Looks good considering sweet potatos are an ingredient. A fairly transparent burnt orange with eggshell lacing. Smells of yeast with notes of sweet potato and mild spices. Tastes like it smells with a pleasantly lively mouthfeel. A nice spin on the style.

Pours a hazy amber with a medium sized off white head. Nose is toasty, light caramel, Belgian yeast. Flavor is similar. This beer is very blah. Kinda blandly sweet (I guess from the sweet potatoes) with a watery lightly estery finish.

Pours a soft hay orange with one finger of off white head. Nose is earthy with a touch of slice and bread dough. Earthy flavor with a light acidity and touch of spice and yeasty notes. Light and dry.

Sample from growler at the Beers from the Bikes Villes tasting on 11/08/2013. The beer is an amber-orange color with a medium off-white head that diminishes steadily to a wispy film. Short strings of lacing on the glass. Aroma of grainy malt, caramel and fruit. Light to medium body with flavors of caramel malt, spices and fruit. The finish is sweet with a spicy yeast and fruit aftertaste. Not sure if this beer is supposed to replicate the taste of its namesake but I am not getting it if so. Either way a decent Saison.

When you see a beer brewed with sweet potato and grits, you just have to know what its like, right? Reddish orange, nice dense white head. Smells like corn (grits, I suppose) and some sweet, fruity notes. Flavor is a bit of corn, some heavy sweet flavors, and finishes dry and woody. Not bad.

Brewvival Trip Beer 22. Draft at the brewpub. Pours a slightly hazy copper color with a thin creamy white head. Decent head retention. Aroma of melon, sweet potato, pale malts, honey. The taste is bread, spice, sweet potato, mild fruits. Medium bodied, lingering spice. Solid.

On tap at the brewpub. Pours a near clear deep amber orange with a white head that dissipates to the edges. Aroma has a nice light fruit note with sweet light fruits, flora and sweet grain with a bit of dry grass. Flavor starts with grain, flora and light fruit and a dry grassiness in the finish.
