3.2 AROMA 6/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 6/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 14/20
Draft from the brewery. One of the few ho-hum beers I’ve had at WW. Pours a mostly clear gold. Pretty standard saison, a little on the sweet and corny side. Not sure how the root vegetables are supposed to add anything of value.

3 AROMA 6/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 6/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 12/20
Draft to mini-snifter at the Funkatorium. Looks solid; a mostly transparent gold with white head that steadily dissipates into lacing. Smells of saison yeast alongside soft notes of ginger and beet. Tastes like it smells with a slightly (vegetal) bitter medium light-bodied mouthfeel. Okay.

UPDATED: MAR 15, 2016 On tap at brewpub. Spicy herbal aroma. I feel like I can taste the parsnip. Very spicy taste with a dry finish. Tastier than I thought it would be.
