Serenity is our aptly named 100% Brettanomyces fermented beer. We are one of only a handful of breweries in the US doing 100% Bretta fermentation. That said for our first one we wanted to do it in the farmhouse style that bretta entered the Belgian brewing world. Serenity is light in color with a subtle golden haze, the nose bursts of white grape, mango, pineapple and old leather. The flavors are similar to those found in New Zealand white wines and notes of guava and grape skin stand out leading to a well-rounded finish.

Formerly known as Transcendence.

Beautiful label and pour. That's about where it ends. Diacetyl, carb, brett galore, not much else worth noting. Time to go back to the drawing board.

Bottle from Brusin Ales - pours a cloudy straw, white head with tiny bubbles. Aroma is full of tropical fruits with some sour funk. It’s not a sour bomb, but a medium sour version of the style. Nice!

Bottle from Bruisin’ Ales. Pours light and golden. Doesn’t leave any lacing. I get a lot of wood on the nose. A little bit of funk on the tongue but it feels a bit subdued for my tastes.

Hazy golden pour with a white head. Slightly funky Brett aromas. Flavor is slightly acidic with nice wine notes. Very drinkable. Not quite as sour as I was expecting. A very pleasant and refreshing beer.

500ml bottle in a tulip. Pours hazy golden with a white head. Aroma of nice clean Brett, some pale malts, light fruits and wine notes, light oak and vanilla, and some floral notes. Flavor a very nice and crisp blend of everything. Average texture. A solid beer.

> Ultra light and refreshing key lime semi-sour saison

[ Bottle ][ 500mL ][ Trade ][ Trade ][ Reidel Reisling ][ 7.17.14 ]
>> Pours a low haze, bright white straw with small white head. Medium carbonation to a tad low. Nose is super fresh dough, lemon, kumquat, key lime, Reisling, white wine barrel, buttery Chardonnay. Taste is super soft, feels like 3%, with sourdough bread, honey roll, key lime pie, slight butteriness/ Palate is ultra soft, super quenching. This is much better than other sours I had on tap at Wicked Weed, and those were really good. This one though, is insane. Heard this one needed more time in the bottle so sat on it for about 4 months and worked like a charm.
