Serenity is our aptly named 100% Brettanomyces fermented beer. We are one of only a handful of breweries in the US doing 100% Bretta fermentation. That said for our first one we wanted to do it in the farmhouse style that bretta entered the Belgian brewing world. Serenity is light in color with a subtle golden haze, the nose bursts of white grape, mango, pineapple and old leather. The flavors are similar to those found in New Zealand white wines and notes of guava and grape skin stand out leading to a well-rounded finish.

Formerly known as Transcendence.

Bottle at RBSDG at the Dad Pad. Pours a hazed gold with a thin white head. Funk and musk on the nose, sweet musk. Medium bodied, tangy and full of light bright acid early. Tangy, vibrant and light. Musky into the finish with lingering light lemon acidity.

Bottle shared at the RBESG 2014, grand tasting 10/08/2014 Craft Beer Co Clerkenwell. Clouded greenish yellow coloured pour with a thin white head. Aroma is nice big horsey funk, brett pineapple amd some dank notes. Flavour is light crisp straw, light funky, grains. Palate is light bodied, refreshing and slightly chalky on the tongue.

500 ml bottle. Pours a hazy yellow color with a big foamy white head that has excellent retention. The aroma is strong with sour grapes, lemons and melons. The taste is not nearly as sour as the nose would indicate. I get mildly sour grapes and a bit of grapefruit set in a cracker malt base. The palate is medium and appropriate for the style and the carbonation is lively. Finishes somewhat short and dry. Overall: Decent sour.

Pours a really hazy light yellow with a thin white head that leaves some lacing. Nose is of fruits, leather, funk and flowers. Taste is dry and fruity with some cereals. Body is light and carbonation pretty high, feeling slightly watery. An OK brew but maybe a bit too light.

Bottle 500ml. Pours hazy light yellow with low white head. Minimal lacing. Aroma is of bretts, fruits. Taste is of bretts, water. Palate: Light body. Soft-medium carbonation. Overall: Nice bretts. Watery. Could have been better, but this seems thinned down.

Bottle (500 ml). Slightly hazy pale yellow with a small white head and little lacing. Aroma is very interested with nice brettanomyces, lemony notes and yeast... but it’s quite mild too so you kind of know the taste might not be as good as the aroma. Taste is really mild with light lemony notes, hints of brettnomyces, mild herbal presence and not much else. Light body. Watery. Medium carbonation. Moderately dry finish. The aroma is really fun, but the taste is rather boring so it’s a good thing that the beer is easy to drink (fast).

Sample at the 2014 Infected Chimipalooza on 11/01/2014. Hazy pale golden color with a thin white head that recedes steadily. Short strings of lacing. Aroma of brett, herbal yeast and tropical fruit. Light-bodied with flavors of frunky citrus and tropical fruit, brett yeast and a bit of oak. The finish is tart with a funky fruit aftertaste. Above average overall.

boom laser show. The most easy drinking barrel aged saison out there. So crisp and delightful. Dare I say charming?

Light dusty farmhouse swag for days. Light cracker malts, lemons, dusty, hay, and a bit of funk. Taste is bone dry charming with a touch of grape skins and other winey notes but muted. Seriously quaffable to the extreme,
