COMMERCIAL DESCRIPTION
This is Wicked Weed’s first session beer, and we couldn’t be more excited about it. We wanted to create a low alcohol beer that is easy drinking, but not lacking in flavor. This 4.7% ABV ale is light amber in color, has caramel and toffee notes on malt side, and is dry hopped with an array of citrus forward hops.

Draft pour from Wicked Weed. Pours a copper color with a tan head. Smells of citrus, floral and hops. The flavor matches the smell. There’s a hint of sweetness at the end of the taste.

Pretty copper amber pour with one finger of tan head. Nose is nice, notes of citrus and a touch of peachy hops. There’s a delightfuly floral and citrusy hop character in the flavor. Light woody notes and a touch of malt sweetness.

>> Pours clear amber with good webby lacing. Nose is hoppy citrus, big pine, lemon verbena. Taste is weaker, tea, pine. Palate is lighter, watery, paper.

Taster on tap at Wicked Weed during RBWG. Clear orange red color. Thin khaki head. Respectable lace. Medium to bigger body. Smooth, kind of soft, lighter carbonation. More dry finish. Kind of citrusy, grapefruity, some tropical fruit aroma, some caramel, lightly toasty malt. Moderate bitter, lightly spicy taste. Awesome, darker, impressively malty session IPA. Nice complexity to it. My only complaint - a bit too assertive to be as poundable as advertised.

On tap at Wicked Weed as an encore post-RBWG. Slight alcohol hotness, which is weird for a session beer, with a touch of soapiness. Moderate centennial hops profile up front and in the finish. Pleasant.

Deep amber pour with creamy off white head and lace. Aroma is resiny hops with caramel notes. Nice semi sweet caramel malt with a nice resiny/citrus bitter finish. Medium body with good carbonation.

Tap at WW. Shared a half pour with MuffT, Muffdaddy, thebaldmuff, among other muffs. Solid pounder here I guess, but not much to it. Your basic amber I guess. Didn’t notice any off-notes so thats a plus. Fun story behind this beer.

Half pour wt the brewery. Copper hued with a small off white layer. Biting hops from the first sip. Exceptionally hig for the ABV. This is akin to a beer from the beginning of the craft beer revolution. But it is cleaner and has more bite. Citrus bite with big bitterness. Low alcohol plus big flavor is a win win to me.
