COMMERCIAL DESCRIPTION
A west coast style india pale ale at 6.8% abv and 65 ibu. This is a hop forward IPA that is dry hopped with over 1.5lbs of hops per barrel. The hop aroma is a blend of earthy dank hops and bright citrus hops to give a rounded hop aroma to make you feel like you are putting your nose in a bag of hops. The malt character is crisp and light with a dry finish. We use Centennial, Columbus, and Simcoe Hops in this beer. Recommended pairings Ė spicy food, lighter meats and seafood

On tap at the brewpub. Pours a clear deep gold with a white head that dissipates slowly to the edges and laces. Aroma has a nice dank pine note with a bit of grapefruit and an earthy grain backbone. Flavor is similar with grapefruit up front but mainly earthy pine notes with an earthy grain backing.

Sample @ Wicked Weed. Amber pour with a small head. Nose is very sweet. Big caramel malt. Sticky summery fruits, fruit leather. Taste is a bit hot and aggressive. Caramel base, plenty of cantaloupe and tropical fruit salad. Active carb, a bit slick.

Tap at WW this weekend and a couple growlers in previous months. This is solid, but not one of my favorites from walt and co. A little too much resin going on, along with a light Belgian character that I sometimes get in their non-Belgian offerings. Maybe its that house yeast. I dunno. Donít get me wrong, this beer aint bad, but it would not be in my top 5 of IPAís Iíve had from WW so far.

Draft. Burnt peach and pineapple with a touch of onion / veggies. Pine resin becomes more pronounced as it warms and opens. Red apple, cherry and plum syrup fruitiness. Highly bitter with strong hop acids. Bubble gum dominates mid-palate. Coarse and astringent texture, off-dry malt. Zebra Stripe gum and astringent pine in the finish. No off-notes, itís not a poorly-made beer, just out of balance for me and doesnít present any hop aroma or flavor I enjoy. Malt is nice enough but a bit too lean resulting in the pine resin hop coarseness dominating.
